The profile of a standard plain top table has a 65mm turn down with a 12mm return on all four sides. The top is boxed with a 1.2mm thick mild backing sheet. If a rear splashguard is required the profile shall be boxed to three sides and shall have a rear splashguard of 150mm high. Between the top and the backing sheet a bitumastic sound deadening compound is to be applied. The backing sheet is to be treated from rust prior to welding of the top and the backing sheet to have a 40 x 40 x 3mm thick mild steel angle iron bracing which forms a carriage. The angle iron to be suitably holed for the bolting of the legs. The backing sheet with the angle iron bracing is to be painted with a hammer tone grey paint. Each pair of legs is to form an “A” sectional profile with the legs manufactured from 41.2mm diameter type 304 stainless steel tubing. The legs have corner gussets for bolting the unit to the underside of the backing sheets carriage. The upper section of the legs are to be braced with 40 x 40 x 3mm thick mild steel angle iron. The lower section of the legs shall have a “U” channel welded 150mm above the floor. The legs shall be complete with adjustable die cast aluminium foot pieces, which shall be able to be bolted to the floor.
