Food will be loaded directly into Gastronorm containers in the kitchen, loaded into the trolley and transport to the designated servery points where food will be served directly from trolley. It is therefore essential that the trolley is able to effectively maintain the food, when the trolley is plugged in, at over 65 degrees temperature without drying the product out. The trolley is NOT designed to heat-up cold food and it is advisable for these trolleys to be pre-heated prior to loading. A detailed operator’s manual must be provided.
Construction shall be heavy-duty. Heating of the trolley is via “blanket-type” heating elements which are mounted on the base and sides of the trolley. This unique element systems results in no need for water baths or humidification of the cabinet. These are low-wattage silicon rubber elements (supplied with an extended guarantee) which are permanent, but easily replaceable if necessary. Size of each element is 500 x 195mm and each trolley has five such elements.
CAPACITY:
Total capacity of 120 litres or 6 x GN1/1 Pans of 150mm depth each. These 6 pans, each with a lid are to be supplied with each trolley.
