The most popular size, Model PD2/2H has a double cabinet, each cabinet has a robust, single drop-down door with specially designed stainless steel hinges and each of these cabinets is designed to hold one removable stainless steel tray or plate rack which is used to accommodate the Gn. Pans, grids or 23cm plates. The sides, base, top and door of the cabinets are effectively insulated to prevent heat transfer to the outside atmosphere. The cabinets form an integral unit with a support frame manufactured from square tubing stainless steel. This support frame is welded to an under-frame of mild-steel coated angle-iron, which forms the base to support the four castors 160mm in diameter (2 swivel). The Capdan ward trolley includes a unique brake system which consists of a robust stainless steel foot-pedal, which, when engaged, locks both rear wheels simultaneously and with a single action. The trolley includes a stainless steel push-handle, lower shelf with retaining rail manufactured from stainless steel and rubber bumpers mounted on the lower corners of the trolley frame. Trolleys are supplied with a single phase removable cable.
